We (Zach) hate weddings. So we're trying to make this less of a wedding, and more of a weekend in the Catskills, one of the greatest places on Earth or any of the other non-minor planets (ha, fuck off, Pluto) with our closest friends and family.

June 14th, 2014 – Wedding Day

We will be getting married in a very small ceremony in Shokan, NY, followed by a delicious meal of food at Cucina in Woodstock, NY.

    We have rented out the entire Graham & Co., a re-done road-side motel in Phoenicia, NY, so everyone can be together for the weekend.

    We have reserved all of the rooms so that there is no stranger-danger, once you have decided you are coming, please call The Graham & Co. at 845-688-7871 to reserve the room under your name.

    The Phoenicia Diner, where dreams come true, provided dreams are of rehearsal dinners.

    Friday

    • Check in at The Graham & Co.
    • Relax at the hotel, or explore Phoenicia.
    • 7:30pm, "Rehearsal Diner" at the Phoenicia Diner

    Saturday

    • Have fun.
    • 5pm-ish, Zach & Sara get married at 60 Longyear Rd in Shokan, NY. Transportation will be provided to the ceremony and dinner, so if you show up late, you really blew it.
    • Reception following the ceremony at Cucina in Woodstock.
    The Esopus Creek
    Hang out. Perhaps on the mighty Esopus Creek.

    Sunday

    • Brunch at Tavern 214, right next to the Graham & Co.
    • Outdoor adventures.
    • Bon voyage.

    DIRECTIONS FROM NYC


    Take I-87 North to Exit 19 Kingston/Saugerties. Take the first right onto Route 28 toward Pine Hill. Go 23 miles and the town of Phoenicia will be on the right. Go over the bridge and take left on to Route 214.  Graham & Co. is on the right about 30 seconds after you turn onto Route 214.

    Buses leave seven times a day from the Port Authority and arrive in Phoenicia on Main St. in front of Sweet Sue’s. Walk just around the corner and turn on Route 214, Graham & Co. is a two minute walk, five minutes if you're extremely slow.

    Hiking

    It's like walking, only more difficult. The Graham & Co. is only a short ways from Mount Tremper, Rochester Hollow Path, Phoenicia Trail, and more. Watch out for rattlesnakes and bears, please. For more information on the different hikes in the area and for directions, check out this website.

    Relaxing

    The Graham & Co. has a pool and giant back lawn. Or, if you want to spend more money relaxing, make your way to The Emerson Resort & Spa just up the road on Route 28.

    Shopping

    In Phoenicia, check out Blue Barn Antiques & Interiors, Woodland Valley Books, or the Too Dark Store for mucklucks and fishing supplies, or head to Woodstock and be overwhelmed by choice.

    Eating

    Sweet Sues is right around the corner from the Graham & Co., order the pancakes and if you finish them, you win a prize (you don't actually win a prize). Also check out the Phoenicia Diner, Tavern 214, Peekamoose, and the German Deli in Phoenicia.

    Protesting

    Watch old hippies get up in arms about something in Woodstock.

    White Water Tubing

    Head to Tinker Town Tube Rentals, or F&S Adventures right in Phoenicia if you'd like to skirt death down the mighty Esopus.
